The Heritage Interpretation Centre is the starting point of the Cultural Trail of Old Town Cellars. Learn about the inhabitants and the history of the destruction of the Old Town during World War II. Find out how the accurate reconstruction of Warsaw’s Old Town allowed it to be entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. See an architect’s studio and watch multimedia presentations and historical films. See plans, drawings and large format photographs that will take you to pre-war Warsaw. In the foyer, take a look at a fragment of old-town wall discovered by archaeologists.
The Heritage Interpretation Centre has an information point for the entire Old Town cellar trail and a souvenir shop.
