The centre is a real paradise for science buffs, and not just the youngest ones, Here, you will discover the secrets of nature, conduct your own experiments and have fun. Don’t ask for a guide at the Copernicus Science Center. Here, everyone can be a researcher and explorer and you don’t have to follow anyone’s rules. You can carry out your own experiments and see how your senses let you interpret the world.
You will discover the capabilities of your body, your sensitivity to light, colour perception and susceptibility to illusions. Hundreds of exhibits will help you understand waves and current.
In the Re: Generation gallery, you will find out what happens in your head when you are afraid, sad or lying. In the High Voltage Theatre, you’ll see an unusual spectacle with electric discharges leading the cast and will be electrified (safely) up to a voltage of 20,000 volts. If you like challenges, take a look at the Thinkatorium. It has all the tools you need to build a bridge or a flying vehicle.
Don’t miss the Robotic Theatre. The performing humanoids not only speak and move, they also express feelings.
Be sure to go to the Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium and see an amazing show. After visiting, stretch out comfortably on the grass in the Discovery Park.
