In the Year of Polish Romanticism, on the 173rd anniversary of Frederic Chopin’s death, we invite you to a Requiem different from all the previous ones performed in this place and on this occasion.
Mozart’s masterpiece (in Süssmayr’s version) will sound before the composer’s heart in a transcription for solo piano by Karl Klingworth, German pianist, conductor and composer, pupil and later friend of Franz Liszt. The outstanding Ukrainian pianist Vadym Kholodenko will play the historical piano.
