In the heat of the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, an insurgent by the name of Władysław Sieroszewski leads a unit of young,
inexperienced Polish fighters into battle against the Nazis – one they are doomed from the beginning to lose.
Armed with the will to defend his country, minimal ammunition, and a letter from his daughter, the Captain’s fate
unfolds before the eyes of the viewer, a member of Poland’s historic resistance.
