The concert will feature the last three cantatas from the famous oratorio. The fourth one reflects on the story of the circumcision and naming of Jesus with the beautiful aria using the echo effect Flößt mein Heiland, flößt dein Namen. The next two cantatas depict the journey of the Magi from the East and the presentation of the gifts to the Child. Led by the Star of Bethlehem, they head towards the newborn Light whose ultimate emanation is the final chorus (Nun seid ihr wohl gerochen an eurer Feinde Schar).
