The Nineteenth Mime Art Festival is a journey through a multitude of forms of the modern pantomime theatre in Europe. These forms, despite their varying roots, are connected by one, increasingly demanding thread – the idea of art beyond words. The original poetic quality, the surprising sensibility and emotionality of the creators and performers of the shows make pantomime difficult to strictly define. This is how this year’s Festival is going to be: ambiguous, intriguing and moving.
